The Pittsburgh Steelers’ fan base has been waiting, and wondering, who the team will hire to fill the vacant wide receiver coach position. After the passing of Darryl Drake during the team’s training camp at Saint Vincent College, Ray Sherman stepped in as an interim coach.
It was never expected to have Sherman stay on the staff long-term, and the team seems to have been narrowing their search for the next coach to work with the team’s wideouts.
According to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the team is down to two candidates: Jerricho Cotchery and Bryan McClendon.
