One week after working out safety Ayo Oyelola, the Pittsburgh Steelers are signing the International Player Pathway product.
According to a report from NFL Insider Aaron Wilson, the Steelers are adding the veteran safety. He previously spent the last two seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars as part of the International Pathway Program.
During his time in Jacksonville across two seasons, Oyelola was an international exemption, meaning the Jaguars could carry him on the practice squad without him counting against the 16-man practice squad roster.
Previously, Oyelola worked out with the Steelers on August 29. He is originally from the United Kingdom, having been introduced to football at the University of Nottingham, where he graduated from in 2020 with a law degree.
