When Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin met the media Wednesday afternoon, he described the injury suffered by safety Robert Golden roughly 40 minutes earlier in the day as a significant one. While Golden’s injury might indeed wind up costing him some time, it doesn’t appear as though it will cost him his entire season.
According to Jim Wexell of Steel City Insider Thursday morning, Golden, who is reportedly still limping some, said his ACL is fine.
While we’ll wait for the official word later in the day from Tomlin, this initial news from Golden is certainly encouraging.
