Report: Steelers ready to ‘move on’ from WR George Pickens

The Pittsburgh Steelers are in a place where, once again, they’ll have several critical decisions to make this offseason. One of those choices and plans of attack will include the sad and sorry wide receivers room. And according to Noah Strackbein of All Steelers on Sports Illustrated, that plan likely includes moving on from receiver George Pickens,

“According to a team source, the Steelers are likely to ‘move on’ from Pickens this offseason, with the idea of completely reshaping their wide receiver room,” Strackbein writes. “After a dreadful 2024 campaign and the expectation that Justin Fields or a new option may be taking over at quarterback, Pittsburgh is looking for a new group of wide receivers for the offense.
