Report: Steelers QB Bruce Gradkowski Suffered Sizable Hamstring Tear

As a result of a hamstring injury suffered Friday night, Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Bruce Gradkowski could be sidelined for an extended amount of time.

According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, Gradkowski has sizable hamstring tear.

This probably isn’t overly surprising being as Gradkowski reportedly heard a pop in his hamstring while going to the ground following a scramble in the third quarter of the preseason game against the Detroit Lions. The veteran backup was expected to undergo an MRI on Saturday and head coach Mike Tomlin had no update on his condition at the conclusion of Sunday’s training camp practice.
