The Pittsburgh Steelers, along with three other NFL teams, unsuccessfully attempted to add another tight end to their rosters on Tuesday. In the end, however, it was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that were awarded former New York Jets tight end Jordan Leggett off waivers on Tuesday as they had the highest waiver claim priority, according to Field Yates of ESPN. The Buffalo Bills, Green Bay Packers, and the Tennessee Titans also put in failed waivers claims for Leggett in addition to the Steelers.
