The Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to add some competition at long snapper, bringing in XFL long snapper Antonio Ortiz for either a tryout or signing him to a contract. At the moment, the details are unclear on the exact nature of what capacity Ortiz is joining the Steelers in.

Ortiz comes via the XFL, where he played for the XFL-champion Arlington Renegades. He signed with the Chicago Bears in 2020, but couldn’t latch on with the Bears.
