The Pittsburgh Steelers were already thin at the tight end position heading into their 2020 Training Camp.
With only Eric Ebron, Vance McDonald, Kevin Rader and Zach Gentry on the active roster this offseason, the team added Dax Raymond to bolster the depth chart at the position after releasing Christian Scotland-Williamson.
Earlier this week, during the team’s first padded practice, Raymond injured his ankle and has yet to return.
With a tight end standing on the sideline, the team is now tasked with trying to fill out the rest of their depth chart heading into the 2020 regular season.
