We finally have more specifics now associated with the Monday trade that resulted in the Pittsburgh Steelers acquiring kicker Josh Scobee from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a 2016 sixth-round draft pick.
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Jaguars are paying $925,000 of the $3.425 million salary that Scobee is scheduled to earn in 2015. In other words, the Steelers will be on the hook for the other $2.5 million and that will be his cap charge as well.
Even more specifically on Scobee's deal, Jags pay $925K in bonus and Steelers pay $2.
