While Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Stephon Tuitt is scheduled to have an MRI on the right knee that he injured early in Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals, the early prognosis seems to be favorable.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com, the Steelers feel they “dodged a bullet” when it comes to Tuitt’s knee injury and the early prognosis is that it isn’t serious.
Keep in mind that this is just one early report and we’ll likely learn more about Tuitt’s knee injury on Tuesday when Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin holds his weekly press conference.
