According to Brook Pryor of espn.com, the NFL has cleared Pittsburgh Steelers outside Anthony Chickillo and closed its investigation into an alleged domestic disturbance incident in October involving him and his girlfriend. Chickillo will not face any discipline from the league, according to the Friday night report.
Chickillo had originally been charged with simple assault, criminal mischief and harassment after the Oct. 20 fight with his girlfriend at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. Police said the couple got into an argument over table games at a casino that later became physical.
