While some fans might be disturbed by the Pittsburgh Steelers inactivity during the early stage of free agency, it would appear that it is not because of a lack of effort. Reports on Monday suggested the Steelers were interested in Denver Broncos cornerback Bradley Roby, but by Tuesday he was a member of the Houston Texans on a one-year deal worth $10 million.
However, if Broncos beat writer Mike Klis of 9News is to be believed, Pittsburgh did their best to secure him with an offer Roby rejected in favor of the Texans.
