Former Pittsburgh Steeler linebacker Adrian Robinson tragically committed suicide in July. Now, his autopsy shows Robinson suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy, CTE, a degnerative brain condition that has affected countless players.
His brain was examined at Boston University with the results publicly shared today.
According to their family lawyer Ben Andreozzi, Robinson suffered multiple concussions during his career. Officially, he’s only known to have suffered one during his NFL career back in October 2012. Practice reports indicated him as “limited” that week. He wound up being active and playing against the Washington Redskins.
