The Steelers addressed their two biggest areas of need earlier this week when they signed safety Morgan Burnett and inside linebacker Jon Bostic. The signings will have a direct impact on how the Steelers approach the draft next month.
Burnett was signed for starter’s money and is expected to start at strong safety with third-year pro Sean Davis moving over to free safety. Burnett’s presence on the roster doesn’t eliminate the need for a safety in the draft, but the Steelers don’t necessarily have to use one of their first few picks on one now.
