The Baltimore Ravens seemed to come out of nowhere yesterday in acquiring former first-round draft pick, cornerback Marcus Peters, from the Los Angeles Rams, getting him for a fifth-round pick and second-year inside linebacker Kenny Young. That’s a relatively low price, even considering that Peters will be an unrestricted free agent 10 games from now.
It was made obvious why the price was fairly low soon after, as the Rams then turned around and made a big trade for Jalen Ramsey with the Jacksonville Jaguars, dealing a pair of first-round picks and a fourth-round pick in exchange for the cornerback many consider to be the best in the game right now.
