The move by the Washington Commanders to land star cornerback Marshon Lattimore via trade Tuesday morning ahead of the trade deadline from the New Orleans Saints was a move designed to help put the Commanders over the top defensively.
It just might not occur right away, particularly in Week 10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday at 1 p.m. at FedEx Field.
According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, who appeared on Good Morning Football Friday, Lattimore’s status is “firmly up in the air” for Sunday against Pittsburgh.
“I would say Marshon Lattimore’s status is very firmly up in the air.
