The NFL roster cut deadline is set for Tuesday, August 27, and the first rounds of this roster moves are already in the books.
So, why not make some final last-minute 53-man roster predictions? Even if I’m dead wrong, it’s a fruitful exercise nonetheless.
Without further ado, with just under 24 hours from final roster cuts, here are my predictions for the final 53-man roster.
Steelers offense (26)
Quarterbacks (3): Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, Kyle Allen
Offensive line (8): Dan Moore Jr., Broderick Jones, Isaac Seumalo, Zach Frazier, James Daniels, Troy Fautanu, Mason McCormick, Spencer Anderson
Running backs/fullbacks (5): Najee Harris, Jaylen Warren, Cordarelle Patterson, La’Mical Perine, Jack Colletto
Wide receivers (6): George Pickens, Van Jefferson, Calvin Austin III, Roman Wilson, Scotty Miller, Dez Fitzpatrick
Tight ends (4): Pat Freiermuth, Darnell Washington, MyCole Pruitt, Connor Heyward (TE/FB)
Surprisingly, the offense was the easiest to project here in the final 53-man roster predictions.
