Max Browne, Pitt QB — Disclaimer: It was Rice. Still, 410 yards and four touchdowns through the air demonstrates the upside the Panthers hoped they were getting when they brought the Southern California transfer here in the offseason. Now it’s time for his receivers to start getting open against better teams and for Browne to start hitting some of those iffy throws he missed so often until he was briefly benched in favor of Ben DiNucci.
