Players doing their part to keep a Titans situation from happening in the Steelers’ locker room

The Pittsburgh Steelers know all too well what can happen if a COVID-19 outbreak happens within their locker room. No, not from first-hand experience, but definitely from a second-hand experience.

Obviously, the Steelers were slated to play the Tennessee Titans in Nashville this past Sunday in Week 4, but an outbreak saw double digit players and personnel within the Titans’ organization contract the coronavirus and not just postpone the game with Pittsburgh, but had some questioning their Week 5 game vs. the Buffalo Bills.

The Titans seem to have gotten things under control, for now, but the Steelers certainly learned a lot from this impromptu bye week, and seeing what a few careless decisions can do to not just change the schedule, but wreck a season.
