Up until Week 9 the Pittsburgh Steelers had been one of a handful of teams who hadn’t had any type of issues with COVID-19 within their own walls. No players, coaches or personnel had tested positive for the virus.
Well, on Saturday that all changed.
According to Burt Lauten, Steelers Direct of Public Relations, there was a staff member who tested positive for the virus. This per the Steelers verified Twitter account:
The statement reads:
“The Steelers were informed this morning that a staff member tested positive for COVID-10, and he has self-quarantined.
