After months of waiting, the 28th pick is finally over and the Pittsburgh Steelers have their newest star. Amongst all the clutter and draft board options, Terrell Edmunds becomes the next best thing to head to the City of Champions.
Pittsburgh came into the draft with a void to fill on defense, and they solved it with Edmunds. The Virginia Tech prospect comes to Pittsburgh after a 196 tackles and six interceptions throughout his three years as a Hokies.
Now, he’ll head to Pittsburgh to play alongside Sean Davis and Morgan Burnett. He’ll be the primary backup and get plenty of reps at both free and strong safety.
