Due to a failed physical and the selection of Colin Holba in the NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers have released long-time long snapper, Greg Warren. Warren has been a part of the team since 2005, leaving his mark on Steelers past and present.
Upon the decision, Steelers’ general manager, Kevin Colbert, released a statement on the team’s website:
“Greg has been a big part of our past success, and we would like to thank him for his contributions and wish him nothing but the best,” Colbert wrote.
Warren also released a statement after being cut, making it clear he’s thankful for every season he spent with the team.
