After just one season, playing only six games, the Pittsburgh Steelers have released Ladarius Green, according to the team’s website. With Jesse James proving a lot last season while taking on the starting role, it appears Pittsburgh is ready to hand him the starting job.
During his five NFL seasons, the first four with the San Diego Chargers, Green has 95 receptions for 1,391 yards and 60 touchdowns. During his only season in Pittsburgh, Green accumulated just 18 receptions for 304 yards and a touchdown.
After signing a four year deal, many believed Green was the starter until James was ready to take the job.
