September 1st, 2017.

Not a day which will forever live in infamy, but the date when Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell finally reported for duty.

As he promised on social media and other avenues, he sat out the entire 2017 preseason, and has reported to work.

So, what is next for Bell? He needs to sign his franchise tender, which will pay him $12.1 million dollars in 2017, and from there he is free to resume a regular work schedule as any other NFL player.

Bell will have to meet with offensive coordinator Todd Haley, and likely Ben Roethlisberger as well, to discuss the new wrinkles of the offense and start to get the talented running back re-acclimated to the team and any offensive changes in philosophy which have occurred this offseason while he wasn’t with the team.
