The Pittsburgh Steelers will play on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day during the 2016 season, joining the 2011 Green Bay Packers as the only teams in NFL history to play on all three of those days in the same season, according to Elias Sports Bureau.
Following the Packers' example wouldn't be a bad thing for Pittsburgh. In 2011, Green Bay beat the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving, the Chicago Bears on Christmas and the Lions again in a 45-41 New Year's shootout.
The Steelers travel to Indianapolis for a Thanksgiving night matchup with the Colts, followed by home games against the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas and the Cleveland Browns on New Year's.
