Based on the Steelers pre-draft interviews it appears that the team is considering making its third move to replace Heath Miller in three years. Pittsburgh made a rare free agent signing when they inked Ladarius Green to a four year twenty million dollar contract.
That was in 2016. If the signing had been a success Green would be under contract for two more years. In 2017 the team traded back a round in the upcoming draft to acquire Vance McDonald. A move they must not be completely happy with if they are going beyond due diligence in scouting the tight end position.
