The loss to Le’Veon Bell in the final week of the NFL season was a loss that the Pittsburgh Steelers could not overcome in their playoff match against the Baltimore Ravens the next week. During the season, Bell’s versatile abilities made him a matchup nightmare for any team he faced. His 1,361 rushing yards was second in the league, while his 854 receiving yards was first among running backs. Just as importantly though, Pittsburgh lacked a solid backup running back to take Bell’s place. That offseason, Pittsburgh signed LeGarrette Blount to a two-year deal.
