After looking at the top five players on the Pittsburgh Steelers when it comes to their overall scores by Pro Football Focus both on offense and defense, it is only fair to attempt to look at the third aspect of NFL personnel units. Unfortunately, when it comes to special teams, scores from PFF are quite lacking. There are no scores for long snappers or other players on special teams outside of the kickers. So if kickers are all we’ve got, kickers are what we will look at.
As I’ve said just about every time I’ve mentioned PFF in an article, it is up to you exactly how you feel about their grading system.
