Pittsburgh Steelers WR Quez Watkins is not letting his failure to make the team’s 53-man roster slow him down. He opted to re-sign with the team on the practice squad, currently behind five receivers retained on the roster.
With rookie Roman Wilson recovering from an ankle injury, though, Watkins could play early in the year. And he believes he has the tools to help the Steelers, particularly down the field.
“A lot of guys are afraid of my speed,” he told Jeff Hathhorn for 93.7 The Fan. “I just need to continue to put that pressure on guys.
