The Penguins will play their first preseason game of the 2022-23 season in less than three months.
The Penguins on Thursday announced their six-game preseason schedule, featuring the regular slate of opponents: The Blue Jackets, Sabres, and Red Wings.
The preseason schedule opens on Sept. 25 with a pair of split-squad games against the Blue Jackets. The Penguins will host the Blue Jackets for a 1 p.m. game that Sunday at PPG Paints Arena, while a different set of players travel to Columbus that same day for a 7 p.m. game on the road.
The Penguins will host the Red Wings two days later on Sept.
