Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter certainly celebrated the team’s big playoff win against the Dolphins in grand fashion Sunday night because any party that ends with a ride in a cop car must have been good.
If Porter were a player, this column would be a little different, but he isn’t. He’s a coach, and therein lies the problem. Coaches are and should be held to a higher standard than their players. As such, what to do with Porter should be the easiest decision Mike Tomlin, Kevin Colbert or Art Rooney make this week leading up to Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
