The end of the short-lived Jarvis Jones era is seemingly near, perhaps even more near than we had originally thought when the season began.
That's at least what many people who listened to Mike Tomlin's news conference from Tuesday believe. It seems Jones could be the odd man out in the Steelers rotation of outside linebackers. It isn't that much of a surprise given Jones' underwhelming body of work since he was picked by the Steelers in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft. Jones, now in his fourth season, was selected to be an outside pass rusher but has five career sacks for an average of less than two per season.
