The New England Patriots released former Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown on Friday.
According to NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport, the Patriots felt it was best to move in another direction away from Brown.
A statement from the #Patriots: “The New England Patriots are releasing Antonio Brown. We appreciate the hard work of many people over the past 11 days, but we feel that it is best to move in a different direction at this time.”

This past Sunday, Brown caught four passes on eight targets for 56 yards and a 20-yard touchdown.
