Linebacker Kevin Greene stood in the visitors locker room in Kansas City, Mo., still dressed in his uniform, and flew into a rage, lashing out at reporters who dared ask him if that Steelers overtime playoff loss 22 years ago was the worst he had ever experienced.
He was angry, as he would be again one year later when he and the Steelers were heavily favored to reach Super Bowl XXIX before San Diego upset them at Three Rivers Stadium in the AFC championship.
Greene could be elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in a few weeks, which would put him in the same company as Dan Marino.
