Mike Mitchell, playing some of his best football this season, looks forward to doing so Sunday against his old teammates, the Oakland Raiders.
The Steelers safety, back at practice Wednesday after a concussion, might even get a chance to put a hit on their prized rookie wide receiver, Amari Cooper, the way he did on the Cincinnati Bengals’ Marvin Jones last Sunday. It was clean, legal and tough, a shoulder and arm tackle to the midsection that knocked the wind out of the receiver. But Jones and his teammates apparently did not like watching Mitchell celebrate after the hit.
