On the Steelers: How will the defense slow down Cowboys RB Elliott?

The Steelers defense spent this week pretending to tackle practice squaders Daryl Richardson and Karlos Williams, who took turns imitating the NFL’s leading rusher, rookie Ezekiel Elliott.

They might have gotten more realism by trying to stop those freight trains that roar by their practice facility on the South Side.

The Steelers have not done a good job recently slowing down running backs. Miami’s Jay Ajayi breezed by them for 204 yards. The next week, New England’s LeGarrette Blount hung 127 on them.

How do you stop the NFL’s top rusher if you cannot hold down Jay Ajayi?
