Omar Khan Admits Steelers’ Long-Term QB Plan Is ‘Not Ideal,’ Solution Could Come This Offseason Or Next

For the second year in a row, the Pittsburgh Steelers overhauled their quarterback room, with every quarterback from the 2024 roster now playing elsewhere. The Steelers are still waiting on a decision from QB Aaron Rodgers, who at 41 years old, would be a short-term option, and Omar Khan admitted at the 2025 league meetings that the lack of long-term option right now is “not ideal.”

“It’s not easy. It’s not ideal. We addressed it last year. We’re addressing it this year. At some point, there has to be a long-term solution. I’ll say that might happen this year.
