With the start of the new league year less than two weeks away, the Pittsburgh Steelers finally know what the salary cap will be in 2019 after the NFL confirmed a figure of $188.2 million to teams on Friday. This number represents an $11 million increase over 2018 and is the sixth year in a row the cap has increased by $10 million or more.
As per OverTheCap, the Steelers are now projected to be $16,329,956 under the cap and will be relatively short on funds to work with this offseason compared to the rest of the league.
