Steelers cornerback Senquez Golson has a lisfranc foot injury that may keep him sidelined for up to 12 weeks, the NFL Network reported.
Golson, the Steelers’ second-round draft pick in 2015, missed all of training camp and his rookie season after shoulder surgery. His foot was injured mid-practice Monday, only the second day in pads for the players and only the fourth practice of his pro career. He was sidelined nearly all spring with a hamstring injury.
Golson, who played at Mississippi, was working with the first-team pass defense as the slot cornerback. Rookie Sean Davis, the team’s second-round draft pick, replaced Golson in the slot after his injury Monday.
