Jon Bostic has played in a number of different defenses during his first five NFL seasons. And even though he’s not known for his pass defense skills, the new Steelers linebacker said Monday afternoon that it’s an underrated part of his game.
A former cornerback in high school, Bostic said he can be a three-down linebacker with the Steelers just as he was last season when he played for the Indianapolis Colts.
“I feel real comfortable doing that,” Bostic said. “I was a three-down player [in Indianapolis]. I never came off the field. I called all the plays.
