The Pittsburgh Steelers officially re-signed wide receiver Miles Boykin to a one-year contract a few days ago and the details related to that deal have now surfaced. Boykin was an unrestricted free agent at the start of the 2023 NFL year on March 15.
Boykin’s deal, according to the NFLPA, has a base salary of $1.08 million. Boykin did not receive a signing bonus and none of his money for 2023 is guaranteed. This is a veteran benefit deal so Boykin’s cap number for 2023 will be $940,000 million, the base salary of a player with just two credited seasons.
