After day one of the legal tampering period for NFL free agency has finished, the need for the Pittsburgh Steelers to draft a cornerback has become even more prevalent. After losing Cameron Sutton to the Detroit Lions and bringing in Patrick Peterson, the future at cornerback for the Steelers isn’t looking great.
In a new mock draft for CBS Sports, Ryan Wilson has the Steelers drafting their CB1 for the future in Joey Porter Jr.
“Porter finds his way to Pittsburgh, but this isn’t nepotism; he is a prototypical big, physical cornerback who looks like he belongs in the NFL,” wrote Wilson.
