Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher Nick Herbig had several flashes as a rookie in 2023. He had a dominant preseason that included a strip sack against the Buffalo Bills, and he made the most of the snaps he got in the regular season, as well.
He had three sacks, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery on the season. he also had 27 tackles, five of which were for loss. Mike Tomlin was asked about Nick Herbig after practice on Wednesday, specifically what it’s been like having James Harrison around to work with Herbig.
“Herbig is an example of our expectations for year two guys,” Tomlin said.
