Last week, it was fairly obvious that Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey had a second surgery on his injured ankle thanks to a social media post that was made by his girlfriend. On Tuesday, during his weekly press conference, head coach Mike Tomlin was asked about that post and he refused to confirm that Pouncey’s surgery took place.
“I’m not playing the Pouncey social media game,” said Tomlin. “I have no announcements regarding any of those list guys whether it’s Maurkice Pouncey or Mike Adams, or anybody else we got on any obscure list.
