The BB-Gun offense that features, once again, Ben Roethlisberger, Le’veon Bell and Antonio Brown, has blossomed into an ensemble. To hear coach Mike Tomlin tell it, he prefers it that way.
Roethlisberger completed 22 passes Sunday in the Steelers’ 43-point cascade against Kansas City. Nine receivers caught them. Brown caught two touchdown passes, but with four receptions and 64 yards, he had to take a back seat to other teammates.
Brown’s presence combined with the growth of other receivers have opened up things in the passing game everywhere, to Tomlin’s delight.
