Something that we have talked about a lot this year, going all the way back to the season opener, is the fact that the Pittsburgh Steelers have used a lot of different players on defense. Some of that has been to availability. Some of that has been due to a lack of clarity in the pecking order, leading to rotations, if not role adjustments.
Even without Stephon Tuitt all season, the Steelers have used nine different defensive linemen, from Cameron Heyward and Chris Wormley to Henry Mondeaux and Daniel Archibong, with Montravius Adams hopping aboard the moving train as an in-season acquisition.
