Mike Tomlin gives blunt answer on Broderick Jones’ benching

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Denver Broncos 13-6 to improve to 2-0. However, the scoreboard wasn’t exactly indicative on how dominant the Steelers were. They had an 11-play drive that ended in a punt, but could have ended in six. Justin Field ripped a 51 yard completion to George Pickens that would have set Pittsburgh up in the red zone, but it was called back due to a holding call on Broderick Jones.

Jones had three penalties on the drive, which resulted in him being benched. Mike Tomlin was asked if the penalties were the reason for the benching after the game, to which he gave a simple three-word answer.
