In his press conference today after practice (via Steelers.com), Mike Tomlin talked about the importance of Kevin Dotson and Genard Avery getting work in this week in preparation for Saturday’s preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
“So, it’s a big week for guys like [Kevin] Dotson and [Genard] Avery and others, and if you saw them getting additional reps, they need the exposure, we need the exposure to them and equally as important, they need the readiness as they step into a stadium next weekend,” Tomlin said.
Both Dotson and Avery missed the first preseason game with injuries, and both have missed practice time.
