The Pittsburgh Steelers might be shaking up a struggling secondary. The move they’re making, however, is a little surprising.
According to multiple media reports, Cam Sutton ran as the starting nickel cornerback at Wednesday’s practice. Mike Hilton was reduced to scout team work.
“Sutton confirmed after practice Wednesday that he played with the first-team defense. Hilton worked on the scout team.”
Sutton spoke to reporters after practice.
“I have confidence in my game,” Sutton said via the Post-Gazette. “I know I can get the job done. Obviously, we’re not so hot right now.
