If you watched the Steelers from 2005 to 2011, you know Bryant McFadden.
McFadden played six years in the black and gold, starting 35 games and winning two Super Bowl rings (Super Bowl XL, Super Bowl XLIII). He also appeared in a third Super Bowl, Super Bowl XLV, which the Steelers lost, 31-25, to the Packers.
Following that solid career on the gridiron, McFadden's since transitioned seamlessly into life on the other side of the microphone, working as an analyst for CBS Sports.
I recently had the opportunity to catch up with McFadden via the magic of Zoom, and we talked about that transition after football, his challenges as he moved into a media role and, of course, his time with those Super Bowl-winning Steelers.
